Repeals and modifications of certain foreign affairs-related recurring reports

Repeals

(1)Section 5520 of the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 (division E of Public Law 117–263) is amended by striking subsection (b).(2)The Department of State Authorization Act of 2022 (division I of Public Law 117–263) is amended—(A)in section 9402, by striking subsection (d); and(B)in section 9506, by striking subsection (e).(3)Section 257(b)(3) of the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (22 U.S.C. 9546(b)(3)) is amended—(A)by striking subparagraph (B); and(B)in subparagraph (C)—(i)by striking the first sentence; and(ii)in the second sentence, by striking In addition, the and inserting The.
