<section section-type="section-one" id="H474D88AACD954BBAB7277776D7BDAF3B"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Davis-Bacon Repeal Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H688D235BDA5B476AAADC727DE4BA2DB1"><enum>2.</enum><header>Repeal of Davis-Bacon wage requirements</header> <subsection id="HAADA5F75EEFD414599B5C89AAB5EA14C"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Subchapter IV of <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/40/31">chapter 31</external-xref> of title 40, United States Code, is repealed.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="H55151B6668BD4E84A9BEB6BD5F989173"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Reference</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any reference in any law to a requirement under subchapter IV of <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/40/31">chapter 31</external-xref> of title 40, United States Code, shall be null and void.</text></subsection></section> <section id="H1ACEE76CE0214B98995A145993B626D9"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective date and limitation</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2, and the amendment made by such section, shall take effect 30 days after the date of enactment of this Act but shall not affect any contract that is—</text>
<paragraph id="H5D109224284F4D839D7F21D53CE227B9"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in existence on the date that is 30 days after such date of enactment; or</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H78C7D0B494ED48F3A372DD7EC6A70013"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">made pursuant to an invitation for bids outstanding on the date that is 30 days after such date of enactment.</text></paragraph></section>
