<section id="H18148D1180AE48FC8A8DEE43C462DE60" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Childcare Access for all Recognized Education for Parenting Students Act</short-title></quote> or <quote><short-title>CARE for Parenting Students Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H8B94D79CA5C3419CB4601512D1CF47B9"><enum>2.</enum><header>Parental activity</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 658P(4)(C)(i) of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 1990 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/9858n">42 U.S.C. 9858n(4)(C)(i)</external-xref>) is amended by inserting after <quote>program</quote> the following:</text>

<quoted-block-continuation-text quoted-block-continuation-text-level="paragraph">(including a program accredited by an institution of higher education, a program of an institution that is accredited by an agency recognized by the Department of Education, a program that is registered with the Department of Labor or a State department of labor or an equivalent agency, or a program approved by a State, State board of nursing, or State department of health as required to license or certify nursing assistants)</quoted-block-continuation-text><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> 
<section id="H5B52C85053A14328B712BD86A728424A"><enum>3.</enum><header>Authorization of additional appropriations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In addition to amounts otherwise authorized to be appropriated under section 658B of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 1990 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/9858">42 U.S.C. 9858</external-xref>), there is authorized to be appropriated to carry out such Act $850,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2027 through 2031.</text> </section> </legis-body></bill>
