<section id="H210FD67ED6AC42D6B0C32CBD27AA8662" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Contract of carriage of Strollers</header> 
<subsection id="HBAAF35068BF54C45B0702B89D9B70A47"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall issue such regulations as are necessary to amend part 253 of title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, to require all air carriers to—</text> <paragraph id="H408A665C3C504B7E9DC636AB807A4139"><enum>(1)</enum><text>include strollers in the contract of carriage of such airline; and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HBB70C101264841598374B3CC0B115284"><enum>(2)</enum><text>to tag any stroller with a denotation that such stroller shall be handled with care.</text></paragraph></subsection> <subsection id="H91434E99C0B0428EA3B5733C061EB125"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Consistency</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In carrying out subsection (a), the Administrator shall ensure that any update to the contract of carriage under such subsection shall be consistent with the Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules for International Carriage by Air (typically referred to as the <quote>Montreal Convention</quote>).</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H61B34E9C92CF4758A892F00678E01026"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Limits on baggage liability</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall issue such regulations as are necessary to amend section 254.4 of title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, to set a liability amount for damage to a stroller by an air carrier of $2,175, within the liability limit for all baggage under such section.</text></subsection> <subsection id="H93D531FC741740EEBD6AE72718BCDB8A"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Stroller defined</header><text>In this section, the term <quote>stroller</quote>—</text> 
<paragraph id="HC7A3DA4871BC4A0CB55E34EA1D322A0E"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">means a collapsible carriage designed as a chair in which a small child may be pushed; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H2AA7471262A44EDB89AE74BFC97F5215"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">includes any other device used to hold children on the move.</text></paragraph></subsection> </section>
