<section id="H2CBC6C7F3CBD4D648C54F1BDC75C9CD8" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Active Transportation Infrastructure Investment Program Reauthorization and Improvement Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>ATIIP Reauthorization and Improvement Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="HC8DF99EF663D449FA358A642A465FA79" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Active transportation infrastructure investment program reauthorization</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 11529(j) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/23/217">23 U.S.C. 217</external-xref> note) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="H6DD55429D76F4B6BBAAD1EB8A2FEC508" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <paragraph id="HBA8DBAF489A2420693A514C5C91994D1"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Fiscal years 2027 through 2031</header> <subparagraph id="H116FC50ECD4A4060A6E9E71DB841C237"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text>There is authorized to be appropriated out of the Highway Trust Fund (other than the Mass Transit Account) $250,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2027 through 2031 to carry out this section.</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="H59792215C4A94C0C84C0D3A91E69BF4E"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Contract authority</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Funds made available under subparagraph (A) for fiscal years 2027 through 2031 shall be available for obligation and administered in the same manner as if such funds were apportioned under <external-xref legal-doc="usc-chapter" parsable-cite="usc-chapter/23/1">chapter 1</external-xref> of title 23, United States Code, except that the funds shall remain available until expended and shall not be transferrable. </text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> </legis-body></bill>
