R. 8485</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20260423">April 23, 2026</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="L000595">Ms. Letlow</sponsor> introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HGO00">Committee on Oversight and Government Reform</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To prohibit the provision of Federal funds to organizations that promote jury nullification, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body id="H2F3D41F3B32648D3AEABF03843A71202" style="OLC"><section id="HCBC2C0B1C23F41949A6BEDDB2E3C881E" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>No Rogue Jurors Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H4BB8F07B0627426F82E24BE8F5A4189A"><enum>2.</enum><header>Limitation on Federal funds for organizations that promote jury nullification</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">No Federal funds may be used to provide a grant, contract, award, or any other form of financial assistance to any organization, school, or entity that conducts training, produces materials, or engages in outreach (including under the title or framework of <quote>Equity &amp; Root Cause Jury Training</quote> or any substantially similar designation) for the purpose of encouraging individuals to seek jury service in any Federal or District of Columbia court proceeding with the intent to vote contrary to the evidence or applicable law, including promoting the deliberate act of voting to acquit a defendant regardless of whether the elements of the charged offense have been established (commonly referred to as <quote>jury nullification</quote>).</text></section></legis-body></bill>
