which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HII00">Committee on Natural Resources</committee-name></action-desc></action><action display="yes"><action-date date="20260827">August 27, 2026</action-date><action-desc>Reported with an amendment, committed to the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union, and ordered to be printed</action-desc><action-instruction>Strike out all after the enacting clause and insert the part printed in italic</action-instruction><action-instruction>For text of introduced bill, see copy of bill as introduced on April 22, 2026</action-instruction><action-desc><pagebreak></pagebreak></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To provide for the transfer of administrative jurisdiction over certain Federal land in the State of California, and for other purposes.<pagebreak></pagebreak></official-title></form><legis-body display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause" changed="added" style="OLC" committee-id="HII00" reported-display-style="italic" id="H71087D09578F44F9BBB755BA257C8C23"><section section-type="section-one" id="H700D6E1A771D4BACB4DF18B7FD3DD7D0"><enum>1.</enum><header>Transfer of administrative jurisdiction over certain Federal land in the State of California</header><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HF23367F05D154827AFC030B038538E73"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Transfer of administrative jurisdiction</header><paragraph commented="no" id="H63BC44F071DD4C6A9929F0466CEE1CDB"><enum>(1)</enum><header>National forest system land</header><text>Administrative jurisdiction over the approximately 160 acres of National Forest System land more particularly described as T.1 S., R.19 E., sec. 24, SE<fraction>1/4</fraction>NE<fraction>1/4</fraction>, NW<fraction>1/4</fraction>SE<fraction>1/4</fraction>, NE<fraction>1/4</fraction>SE<fraction>1/4</fraction>, and SE<fraction>1/4</fraction>SE<fraction>1/4</fraction>, Mount Diablo Meridian, Tuolumne County, California, as generally depicted on the map entitled <quote>Ackerson Meadow Land Interchange</quote> and dated February 24, 2022, is transferred to the Secretary of the Interior to be managed as part of Yosemite National Park, in accordance with laws applicable to the National Park System.</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="HFE6DDA43F3284AE88AD15F8D87D82812"><enum>(2)</enum><header>National park system land</header><text>Administrative jurisdiction over the approximately 170 acres of National Park System land more particularly described as the SE<fraction>1/4</fraction> of sec. 23 and the land to the north and west of Road 1S25 within the NW<fraction>1/4</fraction>SE<fraction>1/4</fraction>NW<fraction>1/4</fraction> of sec. 24, T.1 S., R. 19 E., Mount Diablo Meridian, Tuolumne County, California, as generally depicted on the map entitled <quote>Ackerson Meadow Land Interchange</quote> and dated February 24, 2022, is transferred to the Secretary of Agriculture to be managed as part of Stanislaus National Forest in accordance with laws applicable to the National Forest System.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" id="HB41ACD32B0CF43E4BF5D138B082507F5"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Corrections</header><paragraph commented="no" id="H22597DE7967F49DB941C98EFC11DBBFD"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Minor adjustments</header><text>The Secretary of Agriculture and the Secretary of the Interior may, by mutual agreement, make minor corrections and adjustments to the Federal land transferred under subsection (a) to facilitate land management, including making a correction or adjustment to any applicable survey.</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" id="H15EA80822A074D6C85CB9B429BFF2C30"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Publications</header><text>Any correction or adjustment made under paragraph (1) shall be effective on the date of publication of a notice of the correction or adjustment in the Federal Register.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection commented="no" id="H2D53C3FC59BA4B1F81144A8ECDD8DEE7"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effect on existing rights and authorizations</header><text>Nothing in this section affects—</text><paragraph commented="no" id="H5689C2191EB14E14A973EA2E03D78BFE"><enum>(1)</enum><text>any valid existing rights; or</text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HAE68929D86B943B8B25910534FBC5399"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the validity or terms and conditions of any existing withdrawal, right-of-way, easement, lease, license, or permit on the land to which administrative jurisdiction is transferred under this section, except that beginning on the date of enactment of this Act, the head of the agency to which administrative jurisdiction over the land is transferred shall be responsible for administering the interests or authorizations in accordance with applicable law.</text></paragraph></subsection></section></legis-body><endorsement display="yes"><action-date>August 27, 2026</action-date><action-desc>Reported with an amendment, committed to the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union, and ordered to be printed</action-desc></endorsement></bill>
