<section id="H0325D7B46CAA432DBD81DFBE4CCFB0B7" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>No Free Passes for Cronies Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H392EEFD2784747A2B9558CA47860D097"><enum>2.</enum><header>Motion by the government to dismiss an indictment, information, or complaint</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Rule 48(a) of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure is amended to read as follows:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="H20C8658E07E64E4D85295997E7E6E893" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <subsection id="H0B511D49B11D4D4FA10A51D4064202EA"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Motion by the government</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The government may move the court to dismiss an indictment, information, or complaint. The court may, upon consideration of the interests of justice, grant or deny such motion, except that the court may not grant such a motion to dismiss the prosecution during trial without the defendant’s consent.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </section>
