<section id="HFA50BF2570C844E88FD3497060B9140F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Keeping Individuals with Dialysis Needs Equipped through Year-round Remote Monitoring Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>KIDNEY Remote Monitoring Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H096E4E80B1F540F288F4408C28700FDF"><enum>2.</enum><header>Expanding certain remote monitoring services furnished by physicians to individuals with end stage renal disease</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1881(b)(3) of the Social Security Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/1395rr">42 U.S.C. 1395rr(b)(3)</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
<paragraph id="H57B8BA0AB3B24E6983061EE33F80FE20"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A)(ii), by striking <quote>subparagraph (B)</quote> and inserting <quote>subparagraphs (B) and (C)</quote>; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H37A26892D1F94701B2613902E72C4E0A"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following new subparagraph:</text>

<subparagraph id="HDDD914FF5A544DD3AE4DC67178539E5B" indent="up2"><enum>(C)</enum><text>For purposes of subparagraph (A), payment for remote physiologic monitoring services furnished by a physician on or after January 1, 2028, to an individual determined to have end stage renal disease receiving home dialysis shall be made on the basis described in section 1848.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></section> </legis-body></bill>
