To amend title 38, United States Code, to allow a surviving spouse of a Medal of Honor recipient to receive a special pension concurrently with dependency and indemnity compensation, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Sergeant Gary Beikirch Medal of Honor Act”.
SEC. 2. Modification of Medal of Honor special pension provisions to allow concurrent benefits.
Section 1562(a)(2) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking subparagraph (C).
