<section id="H3DA8E97AE64C482FBF802851AD42F41F" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Criminalizing Law Enforcement Access Restriction Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>CLEAR Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H058202D0F75243AFB1D6BD7078FD416A"><enum>2.</enum><header>Offense relating to obstructing certain law enforcement vehicle</header> <text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 111 of title 18, United States Code, is amended—</text> <paragraph id="H7260689E45AA4637AE6AB1BF199B59D1"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by redesignating subsection (c) as subsection (e); and</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="HC0C9A9E482E944AF96B9A106D1C377E0"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by inserting after subsection (b) the following:</text> <quoted-block style="USC" id="HDEEE33E6D1DC495292F72B9989AF79E9" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <subsection id="H784E924A72594432846D918FD7BA5634"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Enhanced penalty for use of a vehicle</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Whoever uses a vehicle to forcibly assault, resist, intimidate, or interfere with a Federal law enforcement officer of the Department of Homeland Security or the Department of Justice, while engaged in or on account of the performance of official duties, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.</text></subsection> 
<subsection id="H72C28D398B7448DC8C388CE8AFE47B3E"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Enhanced penalty for obstructing a Federal law enforcement vehicle</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Whoever forcibly assaults, resists, opposes, impedes, intimidates, or interferes with a Federal law enforcement officer of the Department of Homeland Security or the Department of Justice, while engaged in or on account of the performance of official duties in a Federal law enforcement vehicle, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block> </paragraph></section> </legis-body></bill>
