<section id="H61B5A3E816ED413F830FFB585149B837" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Restoring Washington's Birthday Act of 2026</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="H66D9D94347814F47BC59482F1E455EFA"><enum>2.</enum><header>Changes to legal public holidays</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 6103(a) of title 5, United States Code, is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HDDD0B362280F49DAB7ABE5DE1F89D0A9"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by inserting after the item relating to the Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., the following:</text> <quoted-block style="USC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H0BA7154321B44F0C92BF7C7C8F886900"> <paragraph id="HE667CF2F04C64625A06779199F5D0203"><enum/><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Lincoln’s Birthday.</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>; and</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H3B07B70899784B2BA15E09D6D53C706E"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in the item relating to Washington’s Birthday, by striking <quote>the third Monday in February</quote> and inserting <quote>February 22</quote>.</text></paragraph></section> </legis-body></bill>
