<section id="H1384AE557C3042B393BAEEDE62D35630" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Improving Housing Access Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H6697FEFDBFB24A9480D244D61D1AA920"><enum>2.</enum><header>Improving housing for the elderly and disabled</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Comptroller General of the United States shall, not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this section, conduct a study that identifies options to remove barriers and improve housing for persons who are elderly or disabled, including any potential impacts of providing capital advances for—</text> 
<paragraph id="H345652A91E874D0EB631B3EEFD531E0C"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the program for supportive housing for the elderly under section 202 of the Housing Act of 1959; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H079B3D1D2827453B90E4EE028AAA82A0"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the program for supportive housing for persons with disabilities under section 811 of the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act.</text></paragraph></section>
