To direct the Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to conduct a review of certain approved immigration benefit requests, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Preserving Integrity in Immigration Benefits Act”.
SEC. 2. Preserving integrity in immigration benefits.
(a) In General.—The Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services shall conduct a comprehensive review of all approved immigration benefit requests implicated in Presidential Proclamation 10998 entitled “Restricting and Limiting the Entry of Foreign Nationals To Protect the Security of the United States” (dated December 16, 2025) that were approved during the period beginning on January 20, 2021, and ending on the date of enactment of this Act, to ensure that such requests were properly adjudicated and applicable standards were properly applied.
(b) In-Person Committee Briefing.—Not later than September 15, 2026, the Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services shall provide an in-person briefing to the Committees on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives and of the Senate on the results of the review required under subsection (a).
