To amend title 54, United States Code, apply certain National Historic 
    Preservation Act requirements to the White House, and for other 
                               purposes.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ``People's White House Historic 
Preservation Act''.

SEC. 2. INAPPLICABILITY OF DIVISION.

    Section 307104 of title 54, United States Code, is amended--
            (1) by striking ``the White House or its grounds''; and
            (2) by striking ``, or'' and inserting ``or''.
