To provide for the payment of salaries to employees of the United States Capitol Police during any lapse in discretionary appropriations, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Uninterrupted Salaries for Capitol Police Act” or the “USCP Act”.
SEC. 2. Providing for salaries of United States Capitol Police during Government shutdown.
There are hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, during any lapse in discretionary appropriations beginning on or after the date of the enactment of this Act, such sums as are necessary for the salary and expenses of employees of the United States Capitol Police.
