To prohibit the use of Federal funds to pay reparations issued by international bodies or courts for violations of international law.
Ms. Hageman (for herself and Mr. Tiffany) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs
To prohibit the use of Federal funds to pay reparations issued by international bodies or courts for violations of international law.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Prohibition on use of Federal funds to pay reparations issued by international bodies or courts for violations of international law.
No Federal funds may be used to pay any reparations in the form of restitution, compensation and satisfaction issued by an international body or court for a violation of international law unless Congress specifically approves such reparations in an Act of Congress enacted on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
