<section section-type="section-one" id="HA67DFFDAECAA4A1590D4947F780A84DC"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Claiming Age Clarity Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" section-type="subsequent-section" id="HB5EA3E5D482E406C984749F988CC3EEC"><enum>2.</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Changes to social security terminology</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Not later than January 1, 2027, the Commissioner of Social Security shall ensure that, in any rules, regulation, guidance, or other materials of the Social Security Administration, whether online or in print—</text>
<paragraph id="H0C3477E3C44440BEA37AA5C227F77345"><enum>(1)</enum><text>the term <term>early eligibility age</term> is replaced with the term <term>minimum monthly benefit age</term>;</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H17F13841EFAD4F81B529ED9EADBAE653"><enum>(2)</enum><text>the terms <term>full retirement age</term> and <term>normal retirement age</term> are replaced with the term <term>standard monthly benefit age</term>; and</text></paragraph>
<paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HF240D1EBD08341A199141E2A589DD5F6"><enum>(3)</enum><text>the term <term>delayed retirement credit</term> shall not be used and any reference to age 70 as the maximum age up to which delayed retirement credits can be received shall be replaced with the term <term>maximum monthly benefit age</term>.</text></paragraph></section> </legis-body></bill>
