A BILL

To amend title XXI of the Social Security Act to extend eligibility for allotments under the Rural Health Transformation Program to the District of Columbia.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Equal Treatment of the District of Columbia Under the Rural Health Transformation Program Act of 2025”.

SEC. 2. Extending Rural Health Transformation Program eligibility to the District of Columbia.

(a) In general.—Section 2105(h)(2)(D) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1397ee(h)(2)(D)) is amended by inserting “and the District of Columbia” after “the 50 States” each place it appears.

(b) Effective date.—The amendment made by subsection (a) shall apply as if enacted on the date of the enactment of the Act titled “An Act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14” (Public Law 119–21).
