<section id="H1A04B1C1FA854847A63CA2B8122EB051" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Federal Working Animal Protection Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H87C3A6DE35954E2288B9A2CD7B5EFC58"><enum>2.</enum><header>Inadmissibility and deportability related to harming animals used in law enforcement</header> <subsection id="HB1B81BF543E7450AA89BA2A2B50FAFC7"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Inadmissibility</header><text>Section 212(a)(2) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1182">8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(2)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>

<subparagraph id="H7736A1BF47EF4897A5F0EAD8A77F0B3E"><enum>(J)</enum><header>Harming animals used in law enforcement</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Any alien who has been convicted of, who admits having committed, or who admits committing acts which constitute the essential elements of an offense under section 1368 of title 18, United States Code (relating to harming animals used in law enforcement), is inadmissible.</text></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> <subsection id="H887A91CBD4B8442093D4F5E49788B806"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Deportability</header><text>Section 237(a)(2) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/8/1227">8 U.S.C. 1227(a)(2)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>
