To prohibit the President or any designee from violating The Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of Canada Concerning Transit Pipelines, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Line 5 Act”.
SEC. 2. Agreement concerning transit pipelines.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the President or any designee may not violate any provision of The Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of Canada Concerning Transit Pipelines, signed at Washington on January 28, 1977 (TIAS 8720).
