A BILL
To amend section 235 of the Immigration and Nationality Act to remove
certain exceptions with respect to the inspection of applicants for
admission.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the ``Expedited Removal Expansion Act of
2025''.
SEC. 2. INSPECTION OF APPLICANTS FOR ADMISSION.
Section 235(b)(1) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C.
1225(b)(1)) is amended in--
(1) in subparagraph (A)--
(A) in clause (i)--
(i) by striking ``(other than an alien
described in subparagraph (F))''; and
(ii) by striking ``under section
212(a)(6)(C) or 212(a)(7),'' and inserting
``under section 212'';
(B) in clause (ii)--
(i) by striking ``(other than an alien
described in subparagraph (F))''; and
(ii) by striking ``under section
212(a)(6)(C) or 212(a)(7)'' and inserting
``under section 212''; and
(C) in clause (iii)(II)--
(i) by striking ``who is not described in
subparagraph (F),''; and
(ii) by striking ``, and who has not
affirmatively shown, to the satisfaction of an
immigration officer, that the alien has been
physically present in the United States
continuously for the 2-year period immediately
prior to the date of the determination of
inadmissibility under this subparagraph'';
(2) by striking subparagraph (F); and
(3) by redesignating subparagraph (G) as subparagraph (F).
