To amend the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act to extend the deadline by which TikTok must be sold in order to avoid being banned.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Extend the TikTok Deadline Act”.
SEC. 2. Extension of deadline.
Section 2(a)(2)(A) of the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act (15 U.S.C. 9901 note; division H of Public Law 118–50) is amended by striking “270 days” and inserting “540 days”.
