<section id="HA824B7A9E3C549CCB80D5502723B0321" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Accelerating Access to Dementia and Alzheimer’s Provider Training Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote>AADAPT Act</quote>.</text></section> <section id="H78F69ACCA7034AD1BBEC3E971224FCDA"><enum>2.</enum><header>Expanding capacity for health outcomes</header> <subsection id="H4E6772DEE88943A9A08B4A987CA6F020"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 330N of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/254c-20">42 U.S.C. 254c–20</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
<paragraph id="HFA9C54F608294D9C8263D4D569610007"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (a)(1), by striking <quote>entities</quote> and inserting <quote>entities, including a public or nonprofit private entity,</quote>; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H8BB1FF5109B24A74B6F7B4655E7A2D44"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in subsection (b), by inserting <quote>dementia care,</quote> after <quote>palliative care,</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection>
<subsection id="H28281EB91A754D66B6C77E462E0CC254"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 330N(k) of the Public Health Service Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/254c-20">42 U.S.C. 254c–20(k)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>fiscal years 2022 through 2026</quote> and inserting <quote>fiscal years 2027 through 2031</quote>.</text></subsection></section> </legis-body><attestation><attestation-group><attestation-date date="20260720" chamber="House">Passed the House of Representatives July 20, 2026.</attestation-date><attestor display="no">Kevin F.
