<section id="H88B19429B2924AD48DA911D1638DA2BB" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Shared Property Agency Collaboration and Engagement Act of 2025</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>SPACE Act of 2025</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HA3FB0FBCD3BF4EF1B176B5C59F1D2F83" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>GSA collaboration with Federal tenants</header> <subsection id="H0008F25972604D0B85AE402070E9D9DF"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In carrying out section 2302 of the Thomas R. Carper Water Resources Development Act of 2024 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/40/584">40 U.S.C. 584</external-xref> note), the Administrator of the General Services Administration shall—</text> 
<paragraph id="HD83E8AD6377F43129427840F1D712520"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">collaborate with tenants of federally-leased space to better identify concerns among Federal agencies around shared-space arrangements;</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="HDB3CA11FEAA14CC5821DA5D38967EE2D"><enum>(2)</enum><text>work to develop a criteria that would facilitate the expanded use of space-sharing or collocating;</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H3DD2F88B7DD24885A812F95795797D09"><enum>(3)</enum><text>identify how special-use spaces can be used to improve space-sharing or collocating; and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="HBAF518397F4C45E0A2B235A667AE796A"><enum>(4)</enum><text>establish measurable objectives, in consultation with the tenants of federally-leased space, to quantify the success of shared-space arrangements among Federal agencies. </text> </paragraph></subsection> 
<subsection id="H5E04730378444A958F72BF575D2FC9FC"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Briefing</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Not later than 6 months after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall brief the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate on the implementation of the requirements described in subsection (a). </text></subsection></section> </legis-body> <attestation><attestation-group><attestation-date date="20250908" chamber="House">Passed the House of Representatives September 8, 2025.</attestation-date><attestor display="no">Kevin F.
