To amend title 5, United States Code (commonly referred to as the Inspector General Act of 1978), to establish a Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board Inspector General, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board Inspector General Act of 2025”.
SEC. 2. Establishment of Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board Inspector General.
Section 401 of title 5, United States Code (commonly referred to as the Inspector General Act of 1978), is amended—
(1) in paragraph (1), by inserting “the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board,” before “or the National”; and
(2) in paragraph (3), by inserting “the Executive Director of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board; ” before “or the Director of the National”.
