Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/116/9">Public Law 116–9</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>2025</quote> and inserting <quote>2032</quote>.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H2F1C6C73520141C4825D8DACEDED6374"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendment made by paragraph (1) shall take effect as if enacted on December 1, 2025.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H8B5597BE51204C1D810954AF77802704"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Compliance with standards for commemorative works</header><text>Section 1(c) of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/62">Public Law 107–62</external-xref> (115 Stat. 411; 124 Stat. 1192; 127 Stat. 3880; 133 Stat. 750) is amended—</text><paragraph id="H2DF231F8673545C7BA624683977A0BFB"><enum>(1)</enum><text>by striking <quote>The establishment</quote> and inserting <quote>Notwithstanding section 8908(c) of title 40, United States Code, the establishment</quote>; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HBFB782496DCD45D28715A1C8B7486C62"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by striking <quote>2025</quote> and inserting <quote>2032</quote>.</text></paragraph></subsection><subsection id="H644A51132D304C418233E7C0862653B1"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Location of commemorative work</header><text>Section 1 of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/315">Public Law 107–315</external-xref> (116 Stat. 2763) is amended to read as follows:</text><quoted-block id="H04D9F58532E04852AD3D4C0977907F68" style="OLC"><section id="H1946C3A258E6463FAF03238149340375" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>1.</enum><header>Approval of commemorative work</header><subsection id="H8751C2EEF98848088029E4F40BB6BD9C"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Site</header><text>Notwithstanding section 8908(c) of title 40, United States Code, and subject to subsection (b), the Adams Memorial shall be located within the area generally depicted as <quote>Adams Memorial: Eligible Additional Area</quote> on the map titled <quote>Adams Memorial: Eligible Additional Area</quote> prepared by the Adams Memorial Commission and dated February 25, 2025.</text></subsection><subsection id="H703D114E52C14579A83102D25559D1E5"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Additional locations</header><text>If the Commission determines that the location described in subsection (a) is not suitable or feasible due to physical or security constraints, the commemorative work shall be located within the Reserve.</text></subsection><subsection id="H8F72FDA7573E4C97AD9A2ABC59C2D700"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Definitions</header><text>In this section:</text><paragraph id="H541C1B9E901341BDA89E964447D58356"><enum>(1)</enum><header>Adams memorial</header><text>The term <term>Adams Memorial</term> means the commemorative work authorized to be established under section 1(b) of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/62">Public Law 107–62</external-xref> (115 Stat. 411).</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HB0960910890B44889D096DC919327B2E"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Commission</header><text>The term <term>Commission</term> means the Adams Memorial Commission established under section 2406(a) of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/116/9">Public Law 116–9</external-xref>).</text></paragraph><paragraph id="HA36723F0E4ED4EAF80A9EDFA816D9AAD"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Reserve</header><text>The term <term>Reserve</term> has the meaning given such term in section 8902(a)(3) of title 40, United States Code.</text></paragraph></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection></section><section id="H45FD7CDD484249CCA2FE74F789C1296B"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conforming amendments</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 2 and section 3 of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/107/315">Public Law 107–315</external-xref> (116 Stat. 2763) are hereby repealed.</text></section></legis-body><attestation><attestation-group><attestation-date date="20251209" chamber="House">Passed the House of Representatives December 9, 2025.</attestation-date><attestor display="yes">Kevin F.
