<official-title display="yes">To provide for an extension of the legislative authority of the National Emergency Medical Services Memorial Foundation to establish a commemorative work in the District of Columbia and its environs.</official-title>

<section id="H835E49B1E02647D0ADC1C60DFECBDF33" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>National Emergency Medical Services Memorial Extension Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H32F3AA76632F490BBFDF81CE2481D6A3"><enum>2.</enum><header>Extension of legislative authority for memorial establishment</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 1(b) of <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/115/275">Public Law 115–275</external-xref> is amended by striking the period at the end and inserting <quote>, except that any reference in section 8903(e) of that chapter to the expiration at the end of or extension beyond a seven-year period shall be considered to be a reference to an expiration on or extension beyond the date that is 7 years after the date of enactment of the <short-title>National Emergency Medical Services Memorial Extension Act</short-title>.</quote>.</text></section>
