<section id="H94B6D539355C48FF960B84ABCDFF5356" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Southern Nevada Wastewater Infrastructure Lands Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HD8C1053F564447ABAB96D81947AD868A"><enum>2.</enum><header>Definitions</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In this Act:</text> 
<paragraph id="H91CEBFF152E44ECCBA218E6FDE783C18"><enum>(1)</enum><header>District</header><text>The term <term>District</term> means the Clark County Water Reclamation District in Clark County, Nevada.</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H8AFEFFB76D1A42BA9B24CAE4C3058213"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Federal land</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The term <term>Federal land</term> means approximately 257 acres of land managed by the Bureau of Land Management and designated as <quote>Federal Land to be Conveyed</quote> on the map prepared by the Bureau of Land Management entitled <quote>Southern Nevada Wastewater Infrastructure Lands Map</quote> and dated May 19, 2026.</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H2FDAD3442BB84821883CAFEA87DFC63D"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Secretary</header><text>The term <term>Secretary</term> means the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the Bureau of Land Management.</text></paragraph></section> <section id="HE044743E75854B7BACE68F0AD3F26ADE"><enum>3.</enum><header>Conveyance to the Clark County Water Reclamation District</header> <subsection id="H514F2FF7CD3B446FA46352F819D5DECD"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text>Notwithstanding the land use planning requirements of sections 202 and 203 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/43/1712">43 U.S.C. 1712</external-xref>, 1713), and subject to valid and existing rights, not later than 180 days after receiving a request from the District, the Secretary shall convey to the District, without consideration, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to the Federal land, to be used for public purposes, including but not limited to the construction, operation, and management of infrastructure operated by the District to support the provision of critical wastewater services.</text> </subsection> 
<subsection id="H70FD46CFE96346B88EA36AB6706EB8E7"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Payment of costs</header><text>As a condition of the conveyance under subsection (a), the District shall pay all administrative costs, including land surveys, associated with the conveyance.</text></subsection> <subsection id="H3763597E6F894343B42D90B2152CF4FA"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Map and legal description</header> <paragraph id="H27146F2979C84C59A4ACAB267179CDC5"><enum>(1)</enum><header>In general</header><text>As soon as practicable after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall prepare maps and legal descriptions of the parcels of Federal land to be conveyed under subsection (a).</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H7718E1AE17304913AB40874BDF6C0612"><enum>(2)</enum><header>Corrections</header><text>The Secretary may correct any minor errors in the maps or legal descriptions prepared under paragraph (1).</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H03B4DA05D04D48DAAEB119E4C278A444"><enum>(3)</enum><header>Availability</header><text>The maps and legal descriptions prepared under paragraph (1) shall be on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the Bureau of Land Management.</text></paragraph> </subsection> 
<subsection id="HF38475F79FA6412CA48AE6FEC0B64FFD"><enum>(d)</enum><header>Reversion</header><text>If any parcel of Federal land conveyed under subsection (a) ceases to be used for public purposes, the parcel of Federal land shall revert to the United States.</text></subsection> </section> </legis-body></bill>
