<section id="H9A278C87E8B64F17B625950CE297A80C" section-type="section-one" commented="no"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Ending Restaurant Purchases with SNAP Act of 2026</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H7CC1748E0484454D8DFD82CB891A6B67"><enum>2.</enum><header>Amendments</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/7/2011">7 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HAEF2957EAC194A4BB65CDBAE4D68532E"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in section 3(k)—</text> <subparagraph id="H8BDF8B136EA04EB2952DA0703FCAC266"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in paragraph (3), by striking <quote>private establishments that contract with the appropriate agency of the State to offer meals for such persons at concessional prices subject to section 9(h),</quote>;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HAB2D14E86BDE454D800B62421263B55E"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in paragraph (4), by striking <quote>or by a private establishment that contracts with the appropriate State agency to perform such services at concessional prices subject to section 9(h),</quote>; and</text></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="H399B807F7F6C4881A781313EBE010A33"><enum>(C)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in paragraph (9), by striking <quote>and by private establishments that contract with the appropriate agency of the State to offer meals for such individuals at concessional prices subject to section 9(h)</quote>;</text></subparagraph></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H08A6440A2A43434A8E69977D3B5249C2"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in section 7(f)(2)—</text> <subparagraph id="HEC59DD896974479CB7A1B1FF13FDB51B"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph (A), by striking <quote>(including restaurants participating in a State option restaurant program intended to serve the elderly, disabled, and homeless)</quote>; and</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HE00BA3BBFE3446DEAA23A6D8AF780B76"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B)(ii), by striking <quote>, other than restaurants participating in a State option restaurant program</quote>;</text></subparagraph></paragraph> <paragraph id="H2DC78E69D3144E07B4D143F939B3E6D7"><enum>(3)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">in section 9—</text> 
<subparagraph id="HC8404F77064642CF90F5342E67D0B293"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking subsection (h); and</text></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="H5271CACDAB844212B718608FE877133C"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by redesignating subsections (i) and (j) as subsections (h) and (i), respectively; and</text></subparagraph></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H2A57C364A47A46DDB82F1954674692FD"><enum>(4)</enum><text>in section 11(e)—</text> <subparagraph id="HE604275FF8A4484EB0CBCFADB0FE80E2"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking paragraph (25); and</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HCF889D0F20FC49F09338B2545DAED0C6"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by redesignating paragraph (26) as paragraph (25).</text></subparagraph></paragraph></section> <section id="H98BE62DD33454616855D71642AD7EA25"><enum>3.</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act and the amendments made by this Act shall take effect 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text> </section>
