<section id="H6E4ADC59D58D4C6F9048FB14E0B6A799" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Stormwater Treatment Optimization, Resilience, and Management With Academic Technological Expertise and Research Act</short-title></quote> or the <quote><short-title>STORMWATER Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H4A3BC8904859462DA71049B90DCD0628"><enum>2.</enum><header>Stormwater infrastructure technology</header> <subsection id="H32ECBA5D0C9C4F2586ADDC0AF7A7A888"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Centers of excellence for stormwater control infrastructure technologies</header><text>Section 50217(b) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/33/1302f">33 U.S.C. 1302f(b)</external-xref>) is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HFAB33C68E122450EADBF0FBAD09CAC7A"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1)(A), by striking <quote>not less than 3, and not more than 5, centers</quote> and inserting <quote>5 centers</quote>;</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="H92158E0EA4B64C21A61F24C5F7DF36AE"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in paragraph (4), by striking <quote>fiscal years 2022 through 2026</quote> and inserting <quote>fiscal years 2027 through 2031</quote>;</text></paragraph> 
<paragraph id="H6E19270B450842E5B271A2C852CD4C2D"><enum>(3)</enum><text>by redesignating paragraph (4) as paragraph (5); and</text></paragraph> <paragraph id="HDEB675349A8A4C51B55B84EB6DB23273"><enum>(4)</enum><text>by inserting after paragraph (3) the following:</text>

<paragraph id="HDA15AD79E8B747C8A5C0A313F8E5D916"><enum>(4)</enum><header>Great Lakes center</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Of the centers established under paragraph (1)(A), 1 shall be located in, and focused on, the Great Lakes region.</text> </paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></paragraph></subsection> <subsection id="HCF2CA665832149ACAC5E1CC4DF13DF23"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations</header><text>Section 50217(e)(1) of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/33/1302f">33 U.S.C. 1302f(e)(1)</external-xref>) is amended by striking <quote>fiscal years 2022 through 2026</quote> and inserting <quote>fiscal years 2027 through 2031</quote>.</text></subsection></section>
