A BILL

To amend the Safe Drinking Water Act to adjust the limits for technical assistance, grants for small systems, and the authorization of appropriations for the Drinking Water Infrastructure Risk and Resilience Program.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Water Authority Cybersecurity Protection Act”.

SEC. 2. Drinking Water Infrastructure Risk and Resilience Program.

(a) In general.—Section 1433(g)(1) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (42 U.S.C. 300i–2(g)(1)) is amended by striking “2020 and 2021” and inserting “2028 and 2029”.

(b) Technical assistance.—Section 1433(g)(4) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (42 U.S.C. 300i–2(g)(4)) is amended by striking “$5,000,000” and inserting “$10,000,000”.

(c) Grants for small systems.—Section 1433(g)(5) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (42 U.S.C. 300i–2(g)(5)) is amended by striking “$10,000,000” and inserting “$20,000,000”.

(d) Authorization of appropriations.—Section 1433(g)(6) of the Safe Drinking Water Act (42 U.S.C. 300i–2(g)(6)) is amended—

(1) by striking “$25,000,000” and inserting “$50,000,000”; and

(2) by striking “2020 and 2021” and inserting “2028 and 2029”.
