<section id="H6F930C2BBE7B4EDA8E9F203AE9CFED95" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header>
 <text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>First-Time Homebuyer Affordability Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> 
<section id="HDDA53913350C4C9785E6909F254AE3A0"><enum>2.</enum><header>Qualified mortgage bonds exempt from volume cap</header> 
<subsection id="H71A1BCAAE758461591C6FBDA67647655"><enum>(a)</enum><header>In general</header><text><external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/26/146">Section 146(g)</external-xref> of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended by redesignating paragraphs (1) through (6) as paragraphs (2) through (7), respectively, and by inserting before paragraph (2) the following new paragraph:</text> <quoted-block style="OLC" id="H4F81824C5B5D4586BC39D549DD1821B9" display-inline="no-display-inline"> <paragraph id="HB29F6F4D2B2441B98DFF750C431A152F"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">any qualified mortgage bond,</text></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection> 
<subsection id="H4FFC994623BC4553AFAD26FCE8339566"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming amendment</header><text>Section 146(g) of such Code, as amended by subsection (a), is amended by striking <quote>Paragraphs (4) and (5)</quote> in the last sentence and inserting <quote>Paragraphs (5) and (6)</quote>.</text></subsection> <subsection id="HDAE10A00BF4640FFB27EAE72E558D93F"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Effective date</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">The amendments made by this section shall apply to obligations issued after the date of the enactment of this Act.</text></subsection></section>
