                            JOINT RESOLUTION


 
  Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, 
   United States Code, of the rule submitted by U.S. Immigration and 
Customs Enforcement of the Department of Homeland Security relating to 
  ``Establishing a Fixed Time Period of Admission and an Extension of 
 Stay Procedure for Nonimmigrant Academic Students, Exchange Visitors, 
          and Representatives of Foreign Information Media''.

    Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United 
States of America in Congress assembled, That Congress disapproves the 
rule submitted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement of the 
Department of Homeland Security relating to ``Establishing a Fixed Time 
Period of Admission and an Extension of Stay Procedure for Nonimmigrant 
Academic Students, Exchange Visitors, and Representatives of Foreign 
Information Media'' (91 Fed. Reg. 44976 (July 17, 2026)), and such rule 
shall have no force or effect.
