Mr. Tran (for himself, Mr. Correa, Mr. Min, Mr. Khanna, Ms. Simon, Mr. Johnson of Georgia, Ms. Chu, Mr. Peters, Mrs. Kim, Ms. Lofgren, and Ms. Meng) submitted the following concurrent resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs


CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

Recognizing the importance of the Vietnamese Heritage Flag.

Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That Congress—

(1) recognizes the yellow flag with three red stripes as the symbol of the Vietnamese national community who fought alongside the United States against communism in Vietnam; and

(2) affirms the yellow flag with three red stripes as the emblem of the Vietnamese-American refugee community in the United States.
