Removal of the Architect of the Capitol

Section 319 of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 1990 (2 U.S.C. 1801) is amended—(1)by redesignating subsection (b) as subsection (c); and(2)by inserting after subsection (a) the following:(b)

Removal

The Architect of the Capitol may be removed at any time by—(1)impeachment; or(2)joint resolution of Congress, only for—(A)permanent disability;(B)inefficiency;(C)neglect of duty;(D)malfeasance; or(E)a felony or conduct involving moral turpitude..
