Short title

This Act may be cited as the Investments in Rural Transit Act of 2024.

Increased Federal share of operating costs for certain areas

Section 5311(g)(2) of title 49, United States Code, is amended—(1)by striking in Assistance.— and all that follows through subparagraph (B), a and inserting Assistance.—A;(2)by striking 50 percent and inserting 80 percent; and(3)by striking subparagraph (B).
