136 Stat. 1625) is repealed. </text></subsection><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id87ee5c31d74943f5aa11afdbc977687a"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming amendment</header><text>Section 525 of the America COMPETES Reauthorization Act of 2010 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/1862p-13">42 U.S.C. 1862p–13</external-xref>) is amended by striking subsection (d).</text></subsection></section><section id="id394ed33d8e2f45988933c1abb92b5fa7"><enum>116.</enum><header>Repeal relating to combating sexual harassment in science</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Subtitle D of title V of the Research and Development, Competition, and Innovation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/19191">42 U.S.C. 19191 et seq.</external-xref>) is repealed.</text></section><section id="id506311facfbb458e9de03a0622a0127b"><enum>117.</enum><header>Repeal of clean energy technology university prize competition</header><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idafe756276ba945e18295e21ca8ea3659"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">In general</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Section 10714 of the Research and Development, Competition, and Innovation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/19302">42 U.S.C. 19302</external-xref>) is repealed.</text></subsection><subsection id="id32a741fcedbc45b38443a981acac994c"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Conforming amendment</header><text>Section 9007 of the Energy Act of 2020 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/16391a">42 U.S.C. 16391a</external-xref>) is amended in each of subsections (a) and (b) by striking <quote>10714,</quote>.</text></subsection></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idA731D420C7CD426688C935520BEB42B4"><enum>118.</enum><header>Clerical amendments</header><subsection id="idD434D1A2CB6B45EAAFB803BEC2757F0C" commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">General table of contents</header><text>The table of contents in section 1 of the Act entitled <quote>An Act making appropriations for Legislative Branch for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2022, and for other purposes</quote> (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/117/167">Public Law 117–167</external-xref>; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id0A6DE094DC364C5AB8BB62A24340306D"><enum>(2)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">by striking the item relating to subtitle D of title V. </text></paragraph></subsection></section><enum>II</enum><header>Limiting Federal mandates </header><section id="idbcce0f80d92a408fa69a1676c1153aab"><enum>201.</enum><header>Limitation on Federal mandates imposed on entities seeking Federal funds</header><subsection commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id6494fd2c233f4f3aaebb528f309e4074"><enum>(a)</enum><header display-inline="yes-display-inline">Definition</header><text>In this section, the term <term>agency</term> means an establishment in the executive branch of the Federal Government. </text></subsection><subsection id="id67e92956a4f44fd8b1492c96fef50856"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Limitation</header><text>The head of an agency may not impose on an entity seeking Federal funding from the agency a mandate to have in effect any of the following policies: </text><paragraph id="id3bfd6c95aeb9404f9bc721088f9a0f22"><enum>(1)</enum><text>Policies relating to prioritizing hiring, training, and retaining employees comparable to policies established in Executive Order 14305 (86 Fed. Reg. 34593; relating to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the Federal workforce).</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id4d351eb69abf41119582d2e5954fba49"><enum>(2)</enum><text>Policies for a workforce plan or a commitment to include plans to hire, train, and retain a diverse workforce, including economically disadvantaged individuals.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idd0be1eea3d70411eabe4fc4874a79588"><enum>(3)</enum><text>Policies on the provision of childcare for children of employees.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="idf492dfe4a5c647d8974150f88fb838d4"><enum>(4)</enum><text>Policies on the provision of wraparound services for the workforce, including adult care, transportation services, housing assistance, and emergency cash assistance.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id572f175b91314245b9d0e64241a26212"><enum>(5)</enum><text>Policies on a community investment plan, including affordable housing, housing vouchers, and transportation services.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id97bcba980d4144438e4a7a965894cb21"><enum>(6)</enum><text>Policies on planning projects specifically designed to minimize potentially adverse impacts on the environment and local communities.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id4ae9d4c243ca46d9810ce7534697ad87"><enum>(7)</enum><text>Policies on planning to mitigate climate change or environmental justice concerns.</text></paragraph><paragraph id="id2024b6d282064562bca1206231e008b6"><enum>(8)</enum><text>Policies on sustaining existing or establishing new project labor agreements. </text></paragraph><paragraph id="id55ccee12d61d47e79822d0b069fc38e7"><enum>(9)</enum><text>Policies on consultation with local labor organizations. </text></paragraph></subsection></section>
