which was read twice and referred to the <committee-name committee-id="SLIA00">Committee on Indian Affairs</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title>To amend the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 to make a technical correction to the Navajo Nation Water Resources Development Trust Fund, to amend the Claims Resolution Act of 2010 to make technical corrections to the Taos Pueblo Water Development Fund and Aamodt Settlement Pueblos’ Fund, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body style="OLC" display-enacting-clause="yes-display-enacting-clause" id="H92EA3059CF574FC2866CB94E210A7DF0"><section commented="no" section-type="section-one" id="HAECC785C7A904BDE923F105996B6DFC9"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Technical Corrections to the Northwestern New Mexico Rural Water Projects Act, Taos Pueblo Indian Water Rights Settlement Act, and Aamodt Litigation Settlement Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section section-type="subsequent-section" id="H11F6DAB144A043CC83677A430400C882"><enum>2.</enum><header>Authorization of payment of adjusted interest on the Navajo Nation Water Resources Development Trust Fund</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/11">Public Law 111–11</external-xref>) is amended—</text><paragraph id="HD96E89FC961C4A7C9D759BB6025D3FF8"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in section 10701(e)(1)(A)(vii), by striking <quote>10702.</quote> and inserting <quote>10702, except for deposits made pursuant to section 10702(g).</quote>; and</text></paragraph><paragraph id="H977594F4A0284067BD8E33D7F4ECA170"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in section 10702—</text><subparagraph id="H64B9CC69BB5A4E109047D7536EB51B26"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subsection (a)(1), by striking <quote>subsection (f)</quote> and inserting <quote>subsections (f) and (g)</quote>; and</text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="HEF8F46B558AC44808F648E35D748FCD4"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following: </text><quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="H1397D85B887D4B49B8FD59BB0CA24BC3"><subsection id="HE516DA6050E447F5849956AE50461A80"><enum>(g)</enum><header>Adjusted interest payments</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to amounts made available under subsection (f), there is authorized to be appropriated for deposit in the Trust Fund $6,357,674.46.</text></subsection><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subparagraph></paragraph></section><section section-type="subsequent-section" id="H7D4AE6679CCC4D46871936C8E271B26B"><enum>3.</enum><header>Authorization of payment of adjusted interest on the Taos Pueblo Water Development Fund</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Claims Resolution Act of 2010 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/291">Public Law 111–291</external-xref>) is amended by adding after section 513 the following: </text><quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HFAC80E6D4CE747F6BDA81AB2BAF82E48"><section id="H10629833667E404EB6C04B140C31AD94"><enum>514.</enum><header>Adjusted interest payments</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">In addition to the amounts made available under section 509(c), there is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary for deposit into the Taos Pueblo Water Development Fund established by section 505(a) $7,794,297.52.</text></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section><section id="HC838E6D94E604C37A49E80A8A3B62A12"><enum>4.</enum><header>Authorization of payment of adjusted interest on the Aamodt Settlement Pueblos’ fund</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The Claims Resolution Act of 2010 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/291">Public Law 111–291</external-xref>) is amended by adding after section 626 the following:</text><quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="HFBD6B71832D749C8A7E76871970C2A9E"><section id="H1C6E80E6BFFC4BA9A949D8DE968C1313"><enum>627.</enum><header>Interest payments</header><subsection id="H0482AFDBF65644748594492834794714"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Adjusted interest payments</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to amounts made available under section 617, there is authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary for deposit into the Aamodt Settlement Pueblos’ Fund established by section 615(a) $4,314,709.18 for the Pueblos’ share of the costs of operating, maintaining, and replacing the Pueblo Water Facilities and the Regional Water System, as set forth in section 617(c)(1)(B).</text></subsection><subsection id="HA69AC281ADE54D10B0D0B58D94FC428A"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Waiver of payment</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">To the extent monies are due or payable to the United States attributable to interest earned on amounts made available under section 617(c)(1)(A) prior to September 15, 2017, the Secretary of the Treasury shall waive payment of such monies.</text></subsection></section><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section><section id="H9D1FEF03BF1A4BC2A4DB25945327360B"><enum>5.</enum><header>Disclaimer</header><subsection id="H721284F336B64ECEAD13E3F59CE41E22"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Section 509 of Claims Resolution Act of 2010</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Nothing in this Act shall be construed to affect the previous satisfaction of the conditions precedent in section 509(f)(2) of the Claims Resolution Act of 2010 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/291">Public Law 111–291</external-xref>) or to affect the validity of the Secretarial finding published in the Federal Register on October 7, 2016, pursuant to section 509(f)(1) of the Claims Resolution Act of 2010 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/291">Public Law 111–291</external-xref>) that such conditions precedent were fully satisfied.</text></subsection><subsection id="H27F2A550F8E44E7A8AC446B1E23BDE1D"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Section 623 of Claims Resolution Act of 2010</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Nothing in this Act shall be construed to affect the previous satisfaction of the conditions precedent in section 623(a)(2) of the Claims Resolution Act of 2010 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/291">Public Law 111–291</external-xref>) or to affect the validity of the Secretarial finding published in the Federal Register on September 15, 2017, pursuant to section 623(a)(1) of the Claims Resolution Act of 2010 (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/111/291">Public Law 111–291</external-xref>) that such conditions precedent were fully satisfied.</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
