Anti-Terrorism Accountability Act of 2023</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id670550de5a4b491e81b2139e0bdaaee9"><enum>2.</enum><header>Opposition of Iran at the United Nations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations shall use the voice, vote, and influence of the United States at the United Nations—</text><paragraph id="id807b48a704754dd4be5ea60aec2797ea"><enum>(1)</enum><text>to urge member states to expel the Islamic Republic of Iran from the United Nations General Assembly; and </text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id3d35861d4ba64369869237ed7c5dbced"><enum>(2)</enum><text>to encourage member states to investigate potential violations by the Islamic Republic of Iran of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, adopted at Paris December 9, 1948 (commonly known as the <quote>Genocide Convention</quote>). </text></paragraph></section><section id="idb665fc828f6540c3953dc49cb9033374"><enum>3.</enum><header>Restriction on funding for the United Nations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">The United States may not make any voluntary or involuntary contributions to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East until the Secretary of State certifies to Congress that the Islamic Republic of Iran—</text><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id10bf6d79023f41bdb274209da76b3b2c"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">has been expelled from the United Nations General Assembly; and </text></paragraph><paragraph commented="no" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="id27e9b38a3dc146cebd30a6f550f24e2a"><enum>(2)</enum><text>is being investigated for violations of the Genocide Convention.</text></paragraph></section></legis-body></bill>
