Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act to designate as a component of the National Heritage Area System the Finger Lakes National Heritage Area in the State of New York, and for other purposes.</official-title></form><legis-body><section id="S1" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Finger Lakes National Heritage Area Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="idc6f1f225004c430cb8540232681bd6be"><enum>2.</enum><header>Designation of Finger Lakes National Heritage Area</header><subsection id="idc82dfc39811e4aa0aaf197f30082d1ba"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Designation</header><text>Section 6001(a) of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/116/9">Public Law 116–9</external-xref>; 133 Stat. 768; 136 Stat. 6163) is amended by adding at the end the following: </text><quoted-block style="OLC" display-inline="no-display-inline" id="idd9491541dbf3420483bc703bc3d41d81"><paragraph id="id739c8d4d79284cf9824db507eeac4fb5"><enum>(14)</enum><header>Finger Lakes National Heritage Area</header><subparagraph id="idc8513a1005cd463885dcab770a511888"><enum>(A)</enum><header>In general</header><text>There is established as a component of the National Heritage Area System the Finger Lakes National Heritage Area in the State of New York, consisting of Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Livingston, Monroe, Onondaga, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne, and Yates Counties, New York. </text></subparagraph><subparagraph id="id9bf12bf8b10c4610a9219e15004fda04"><enum>(B)</enum><header>Local coordinating entity</header><text>The Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance shall be the local coordinating entity for the National Heritage Area designated by subparagraph (A).</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subsection><subsection id="idb9b28f6227b94ef9ae4bdae63e8bf357"><enum>(b)</enum><header>Management plan</header><text>For the purposes of section 6001(c) of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/116/9">Public Law 116–9</external-xref>; 133 Stat. 772; 136 Stat. 6173), the local coordinating entity for the Finger Lakes National Heritage Area designated under the amendment made by subsection (a) shall submit to the Secretary of the Interior for approval a proposed management plan for the Finger Lakes National Heritage Area not later than 3 years after the date of enactment of this Act.</text></subsection><subsection id="id298e000e590441ac9c0e6bdd9e68f8b7"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Termination of authority</header><text>For the purposes of subsection (g)(4) of section 6001 of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/116/9">Public Law 116–9</external-xref>; 133 Stat. 776), the authority of the Secretary of the Interior to provide assistance under that section for the Finger Lakes National Heritage Area designated under the amendment made by subsection (a) shall terminate on the date that is 15 years after the date of enactment of this Act.</text></subsection></section></legis-body></bill>
