<section section-type="section-one" id="HA337837AADDF416C9EC45FCD0B68A24B"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Nutrition Administration Assistance Act of 2023</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section section-type="subsequent-section" id="H0BEBA6B96197465C82C8FD4359852E96"><enum>2.</enum><header>Additional funds for administrative costs</header> <subsection id="H63FA101F9F2A4853966A346231C1588E"><enum>(a)</enum><header>Commodity supplemental food program</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to amounts otherwise made available to State agencies to pay administrative costs incurred by State agencies to carry out section 5 of the Agriculture and Consumer Protection Act of 1973 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/7/612c">7 U.S.C. 612c</external-xref> note; <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/93/86">Public Law 93–86</external-xref>), 70 percent of the amounts authorized to be appropriated under section 3 shall be provided for those administrative costs.</text></subsection>
<subsection id="HB71FAD72CDD54FE8A90921DB325A16E4"><enum>(b)</enum><header>State plans under the Emergency Food Assistance Act of 1983</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to amounts otherwise made available to States to pay administrative costs incurred by States to carry out State plans under section 202A of the Emergency Food Assistance Act of 1983 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/7/7503">7 U.S.C. 7503</external-xref>), 20 percent of the amounts authorized to be appropriated under section 3 shall be provided for those administrative costs.</text></subsection> <subsection id="H480F0F3412D145CBA47E60AEAD45D1A6"><enum>(c)</enum><header>Seniors farmers’ market nutrition program</header><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">In addition to amounts otherwise made available to the Secretary of Agriculture for administrative costs to carry out section 4402 of the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/7/3007">7 U.S.C. 3007</external-xref>), 10 percent of the amounts authorized to be appropriated under section 3 shall be provided for those administrative costs.</text></subsection></section>
<section id="H010557453A414CAAA8FB9225DBF8661D"><enum>3.</enum><header>Authorization of appropriations</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this Act $1,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2024 through 2028.</text></section> </legis-body> </bill>
