Short title

This Act may be cited as the Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program Enhancement Act of 2023.

Noninsured crop disaster assistance program

(a)

In general

Section 196 of the Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act of 1996 (7 U.S.C. 7333) is amended—(1)in subsection (a)(1)(A)(ii), by striking except in the case of crops and grasses used for grazing,; and(2)in subsection (l)(1), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking (other than for crops and grasses used for grazing).(b)

Regulations

Not later than 90 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Agriculture shall promulgate regulations to carry out the amendments made by subsection (a).
