<whereas><text>Whereas the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) held its first festival in Charleston, South Carolina, in February 1983, hosting 100 artists and exhibitors and 5,000 attendees;</text></whereas> <whereas><text>Whereas SEWE has now grown to become an important and highly anticipated annual event in Charleston during Presidents Day weekend, welcoming approximately 500 artists, exhibitors, and wildlife experts, and 40,000 attendees each year;</text></whereas> 
<whereas><text>Whereas SEWE generates an estimated $50,000,000 in economic impact for Charleston every year and has become synonymous with the kickoff of the city’s tourism season;</text></whereas> <whereas><text>Whereas, over the past 40 years, SEWE has established itself as the Nation’s premier celebration of wildlife art and the great outdoors;</text></whereas> 
<whereas><text>Whereas SEWE remains committed to making positive contributions to wildlife art, conservation, education, and local and regional economies through entertainment; and</text></whereas> <whereas><text>Whereas the legacy built by SEWE over the past four decades has impacted both the Charleston community and the conservation world: Now, therefore, be it</text></whereas></preamble><resolution-body style="traditional" id="H3BAB6102706F4C5D858536AFC4DD1F5C"> 
<section display-inline="yes-display-inline" section-type="undesignated-section" id="H5D0AAA694FCD401BA549558962B1F9EF"><text>That the House of Representatives—</text> <paragraph id="H7AB0FBA11DDD4CC591A2DF3254995FAE"><enum>(1)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">congratulates the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) on the occasion of its 40th anniversary for its successful festivals promoting wildlife conservation, education, and the arts; and</text></paragraph>
