R. 7086</legis-num><current-chamber>IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES</current-chamber><action display="yes"><action-date date="20240125">January 25, 2024</action-date><action-desc><sponsor name-id="G000568">Mr. Griffith</sponsor> (for himself and <cosponsor name-id="S001211">Mr. Stanton</cosponsor>) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the <committee-name committee-id="HPW00">Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure</committee-name></action-desc></action><legis-type>A BILL</legis-type><official-title display="yes">To provide that certain standards relating to traffic safety campaign messages shall have no force or effect.</official-title></form><legis-body id="HB93A0E5CBCF448FF942914A4D81B35EE" style="OLC"><section id="HE3076FDB752D4DBF878E204A4D96B105" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Highway Administration Humor Allowance Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section><section id="H36F90A6569EB464DB3489B80C23A9BBA" section-type="subsequent-section"><enum>2.</enum><header>Traffic safety campaign messages</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Provision 04 of section 2L.07 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, as incorporated by reference under the final rule of the Federal Highway Administration titled <quote>National Standards for Traffic Control Devices; the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways; Revision</quote> and issued December 19, 2023 (88 Fed. Reg. 87672), shall have no force or effect. </text></section></legis-body></bill>
