<official-title display="yes">To require Amtrak to report to Congress information on Amtrak compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 with respect to trains and stations.<pagebreak/></official-title>

<section id="HE960F0C1C6EC4C76814EC442EAFF0027" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Think Differently Transportation Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H7B501BF7A3AD49D6AFE98B1FF4394B81"><enum>2.</enum><header>Report on Amtrak ADA compliance</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 24315(b) of title 49, United States Code, is amended—</text> 
<paragraph id="HC1A6C05833934449AB6E9F1192148B7F"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in paragraph (1)—</text> <subparagraph id="HB765D8DA085648C4A16C9C3EEC26E40D"><enum>(A)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B) by striking <quote>and</quote> at the end;</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HE14D4363F37F4A4CA3DD9077F3572603"><enum>(B)</enum><text>in subparagraph (C) by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and</text></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="H7D71445BD9D04CDE9CE397A9C2594273"><enum>(C)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following: </text> 
<quoted-block style="OLC" id="H9688EFCF69C649D7A11B876D9D0D226D" display-inline="no-display-inline"> 
<subparagraph id="HED3E2F691F22463A852325FF6792B7C5" indent="paragraph"><enum>(D)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">shall include an action plan for bringing Amtrak rail cars and Amtrak-served stations that are not in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/12101">42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq.</external-xref>) into compliance with such Act as required by the settlement agreement entered into in 2020 between Amtrak and the Department of Justice; and</text></subparagraph> <subparagraph id="HF131C727B0E24E0EAD977B3092AEB891" indent="paragraph"><enum>(E)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">shall include a status report on—</text> 
<clause id="HBB8BDAF4B4A942EBA6CE77B5891DD36B"><enum>(i)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Amtrak-served stations for which Amtrak is solely responsible for compliance with such Act based on a station assessment carried out by Amtrak, including a timeline for any required compliance with such Act, as required by the settlement agreement; </text></clause> <clause id="H853FC302480249DC824ACB6193846973"><enum>(ii)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">Amtrak-served stations for which Amtrak has a shared responsibility for compliance with such Act based on a station assessment carried out by Amtrak, including a timeline for any required compliance with such Act for the portions of the station for which Amtrak is the responsible party consistent with the terms of the settlement agreement, identifying who is responsible for compliance (and the status of the compliance of each responsible party with such Act) for such portions and the timeline for compliance in cases in which Amtrak is not the responsible party; and</text></clause> 
<clause id="H94EB3341AB3E4D9D9A1E1186EED37C5D"><enum>(iii)</enum><text display-inline="yes-display-inline">the status of compliance with such Act for all Amtrak-served stations for which Amtrak is not the responsible party, nor is responsible for a portion of the station, and the entity or entities that have responsibility for compliance with such Act, based on a station assessment carried out by Amtrak or the party responsible under such Act.</text></clause></subparagraph><after-quoted-block>; and </after-quoted-block></quoted-block></subparagraph></paragraph> <paragraph id="H3FDD094D9D154B068DF810D583C8A7B7" display-inline="no-display-inline"><enum>(2)</enum><text>by adding at the end the following: </text>
