Short title

This Act may be cited as the California Clean School Bus Equity Act.

Clean school bus program

Section 741(b)(7) of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (42 U.S.C. 16091(b)(7)) is amended to read as follows: (7)

Deployment and distribution

The Administrator shall— (A)to the maximum extent practicable, achieve nationwide deployment of clean school buses and zero-emission school buses through the program under this section; and (B)ensure a broad geographic distribution of awards. .
