<section id="H56223F5548D0403AA882D516300386B4" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Deplatform Drug Dealers Act</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="HB9A2CDA909A945F797338775BBF594C9"><enum>2.</enum><header>No effect on certain laws relating to controlled substances and drugs</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 230(e) of the Communications Act of 1934 (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/47/230">47 U.S.C. 230(e)</external-xref>) is amended by adding at the end the following:</text>

<paragraph id="H323A44CB05864E1EB5A53542743A20C0"><enum>(6)</enum><header>No effect on certain laws relating to controlled substances and drugs</header><text>In addition to the exception provided by paragraph (1) for Federal criminal statutes, nothing in this section (other than subsection (c)(2)(A)) shall be construed to impair or limit any action for civil penalties, damages, or equitable relief based on advertising or offering to sell, deliver, distribute, dispense, or introduce into interstate commerce a controlled substance (as defined in section 102 of the Controlled Substances Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/21/802">21 U.S.C. 802</external-xref>)) or drug (as defined in section 201 of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/21/321">21 U.S.C. 321</external-xref>)) in violation of—</text> <subparagraph id="HD81C895F7CD144BA8B520E40B6CF6BD8"><enum>(A)</enum><text>section 401(h) or 403(c)(2) of the Controlled Substances Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/21/841">21 U.S.C. 841(h)</external-xref>; 843(c)(2)); or</text></subparagraph> 
<subparagraph id="HB0D2C9705C0D41919DEE521742828C27"><enum>(B)</enum><text>section 301(a), 301(d), or 505(a) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/21/331">21 U.S.C. 331(a)</external-xref>; 331(d); 355(a)).</text></subparagraph></paragraph><after-quoted-block>.</after-quoted-block></quoted-block></section> </legis-body></bill>
