<section id="HE72E6AF8D9FE4589A8E5F711CC341A4C" section-type="section-one"><enum>1.</enum><header>Short title</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">This Act may be cited as the <quote><short-title>Downwinders Parity Act of 2023</short-title></quote>.</text></section> <section id="H805F2F777C084F56AADBD90FF97E1FCC"><enum>2.</enum><header>Inclusion under the radiation exposure compensation act</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Section 4(b)(1) of the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (<external-xref legal-doc="usc" parsable-cite="usc/42/2210">42 U.S.C. 2210</external-xref> note; <external-xref legal-doc="public-law" parsable-cite="pl/101/426">Public Law 101–426</external-xref>) is amended—</text>
<paragraph id="H4E4360432E7F4374B91B1BA1A5C45A4A"><enum>(1)</enum><text>in subparagraph (B)—</text> <subparagraph id="H9047EA2C28984528901834634FA5CB36"><enum>(A)</enum><text>by striking <quote>that portion of</quote>; and</text></subparagraph>
<subparagraph id="HB28A69F4C81147D591A01270EA86E2DF"><enum>(B)</enum><text>by striking <quote>that consists of townships 13 through 16 at ranges 63 through 71</quote>; and</text></subparagraph></paragraph> <paragraph id="H3CB2B494A30D4760A4B32E690598359D"><enum>(2)</enum><text>in subparagraph (C), by inserting <quote>all acreage in any county all or part of which is located in</quote> before <quote>that part</quote>.</text></paragraph></section>
<section id="HF5ADE71181794AE98409555B6A1ED93B"><enum>3.</enum><header>Report</header><text display-inline="no-display-inline">Within 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Attorney General shall submit to the relevant committees of the House of Representatives and of the Senate a report that outlines efforts to educate and conduct outreach to persons made newly eligible for benefits under the amendments made by section 2 of this Act.</text></section> </legis-body></bill>
