1.

Short title

This Act may be cited as the IHS Contract Support Cost Amendment Act.

Amendments to the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act

Section 106(a) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (25 U.S.C. 5325(a)) is amended—(1)in paragraph (2)—(A)by striking but which and inserting including activities that;(B)in subparagraph (A)—(i)by striking respective;(ii)by striking his and inserting the Secretary’s; and(iii)by striking or;(C)in subparagraph (B), by striking the period and inserting ; or; and(D)by adding at the end the following: (C)would otherwise be carried out by the Secretary in support of the Secretary’s direct operation of the program, but for which the costs are not fully covered by the amount of funds required under paragraph (1). ; and (2)in paragraph (3)(A), by inserting amounts after duplicate any funding.
